Hi crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a cozy, retro-inspired card project that’s straight from the heart of the kitchen. This playful design features some of my favorite Honey Bee Stamps products — perfect for anyone who loves baking, vintage charm, or just a little crafty fun!
The star of the card is that darling kitchen shelf, styled using the Hoosier Cabinet Die Set. From the mixing bowls and rolling pin to the sweet canisters and polka-dot mugs, every little piece was ink-blended and layered with love! I used the Baking Spirits Bright Stencil to add detail and personality to the kitchenware — giving them that classic, vintage Pyrex feel. 💕

The background is built with a soft green ink-blended circle (cut with a Lawn Fawn stitched circle die), again using the Baking Spirits Bright Stencil to create that geometric kitchen tile look. Everything is layered over a subtle script-style recipe paper for extra retro vibes. And of course, the punny “What’s Cookin’?” sentiment is from the What’s Cookin’ Stamp Set by Honey Bee Stamps — I couldn’t resist!

✂️ Supplies I Used:
- Hoosier Cabinet Die Set – Honey Bee Stamps
- What’s Cookin’ Stamp Set – Honey Bee Stamps
- Baking Spirits Bright Stencil – Honey Bee Stamps Stitched Circle Die – Lawn Fawn Distress Inks for blending Glossy Accents for shine Foam squares for dimension White gel pen for tiny highlights
💡 Cardmaking Tips:
Use stencils for extra detail! The Baking Spirits Bright Stencil works beautifully on both the background and the die cuts themselves. Stick to a color family – I kept everything in the pink and green family for a soft, nostalgic look. Layer smartly: Foam tape behind the shelf adds dimension without making the card bulky.
This card is blank inside, so it’s ready for any occasion—whether you’re sending happy mail to a baking buddy or inviting someone to a homemade brunch.
