Lawn Fawn Sweet Wishes Deer Party Animal Note Card

I have finally moved, unpacked and organized (sort of) my craft area.  YAY!  So I set about to use one of my new Lawn Fawn stamps ~ Party Animals!

Using the Butternut 4bar note card, I used the stitched rectangle dies, along with the puffy clouds, and stitched hillsides to make the scene for my little deer (moose?) critter.  He looked a little lonely, so I thought a tiny mushroom from the Gleeful Gardens stamp set would work great, along with a leaf from Critters From The Past. The sentiment was from Milk & Cookies; I thought it was perfect for this layout.

Here is my card:

The Spectrum Noir alcohol marker colors I used in the project are:

  • Deer / Moose:
    • Body – EB2, GB8, GB 10
    • Antlers – EB1
    • Tummy – FS1 & Blender pen
  • Ice Cream:
    • Scoop – PP1, PP@, CE2
    • Cone EB1, EB2
  • Mushroom:  LV1, HB2
  • Leaf:  LG1, LG2, CG4

Quick tip: I stamped the sentiment from Milk & Cookies in Stayzon black ink onto the vellum as the Memento will smear

Lawn Fawn Here’s The Scoop & Scripty Sayings Double Scoop Hello!

This has been a great summer so far – not too hot and lots of sunny days.  When Lawn Fawn revealed the Here’s The Scoop coordinating dies I just had to break out my stamp set!

I used the chocolate chip stamp from Milk & Cookies set for the chips in each of the top scoops – I just loved how it turned out too! I tried a few other methods to get sprinkles & this was the best & the easiest 😉

Lawn Fawn Make Lemonade Summer Smiles Card

With summer officially here, I was inspired to pull out my Make Lemonade mini set from Lawn Fawn. When the gingham backdrops set was released I just knew these two sets would be perfect together, so I thought I would finally try and create something.

Lawn Fawn Blue Skies Hot Air Ballons with Scripty Sayings Thinking of You Card

One of the owner’s & face of Lawn Fawn, Kelly Marie Alvarez recently revealed to us Lawn Fawn fans that she was battling long term Lyme disease.  As a person who suffers from chronic pain I can understand the rollercoaster chronic health issues can be; so I thought I would send her a card to hopefully brighten her day.

When creating the design for this card, I had recently seen the LawnScaping design team challenge for anything ‘pink’.  Anyone who knows me knows that pink has been my favorite color since forever, so I thought I would play along – here is what I came up with:

Here are some tips & tricks that you can use if you would like to make this card as well:

  • I cut an extra cloud to use as a mask to blend on the color for the sky
  • Sponge blend some pink ink on the brown polka dot paper to change the white spots to the coordinating pink
  • A glue pen worked great to apply the glitter to the outside edge of the clouds
  • Adding a sponged border of pink to the vanilla cardstock strip for the sentiment really brought the embossing sentiment out

Lawn Fawn Love You S’more Happy Birthday Bear Card

Hi Stampers!
This card I made for a girl at the office who loves bears & recently had a birthday.  I whipped this card up pretty quickly using the bear from the Love You Smores set.  I don’t have the woodgrain backdrops stamp set so I used one of the walnut note cards as the layer underneath the die cut trees.  I added a splash of color to the trees to give it some contrast, and blended in some Broken China distress ink for the sky.

The bear was colored with Spectrum Noir markers Gb10, GB 8 & EB2, I stamped & die cut the hat from Hat’s Off and colored with OR1, OR2 & CT 2.

Lawn Fawn Baked With Love Lawnscaping Challenge

I have been a fan of Lawn Fawn for many, many years but I have never had the confidence to enter a challenge with my work.
So I figured now was as good as time as any to get started! After all, practice makes perfect right?

The Lawnscaping challenge is “dimension”:  I chose Baked With Love as my primary set for my card. It took me quite a few tries to get it just as I envisioned in my head.

The scripty hugs was die cut from glitter fun foam, which I have been using a lot of lately 😛  See end of post for full list of supplies used.

I appreciate and welcome comments – thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens with Spectrum Noir Markers

The latest from the Lawn Fawn release, Gleeful Gardens goes so well with the new Gingham Backdrops stamp set.  It took me a few tries to get the gingham to stamp in alignment all the way across, so I just fudged it and cut a strip of the best stamped part 😛  That worked out well in the long run as it inspired me to come up with this card.  The snail is super cute and I love how the daisy flower just automatically inspires sunshiny feelings!

All colored with Spectrum Noir markers this card took less than 20 minutes from start to finish to make – so I suspect I will be making a few more to keep on hand.
