Bright colors, tropical details, and the sweetest summery styling came together for this cheerful card using the May 2026 Spellbinders All Crate Club release! I had so much fun mixing elements from the Pop of Summer Large Die of the Month with pieces from the Wrapped in Care set to create this fruity tropical drink-inspired design.
The adorable character steals the show with her floral hair accessories and playful double puff hairstyle — a detail inspired by the incredibly creative Sarah Leese, who showed how to create the hair bunches in one of her YouTube videos. I absolutely loved the added personality it brought to the project!
For the drink embellishments, I layered watermelon, citrus, leafy accents, and a tiny cocktail umbrella to create a fun dimensional arrangement bursting with summer vibes. The candied berry garnish was finished with a small dab of Tim Holtz Rock Candy Glitter for a sugary sparkle effect, while Spellbinders holographic cardstock added a flashy metallic shine to the soda can details.

All cardstock used on this project is from the gorgeous Spellbinders ColorWheel collection, which made it easy to build a bold tropical palette full of juicy color contrasts. The warm embossed background adds texture and sunshine energy while allowing the focal design to really pop from the card front.

This project feels like summer in paper form — bright, playful, and just plain happy. Perfect for celebrating warm weather, friendship, birthdays, or simply sending a cheerful handmade hello.
