Honeybee Stamps Lovely Layers Playing Cards & Lovely Layers Roll The Dice

From the Valentines release this card made with the Honey Bee lovely layers, playing cards and lovely layers roll. The dice set took me quite a while to make. I love all the elements so much. I want to include everything so I had to very carefully plan out how to incorporate as many ill as I could without making the car look cluttered.

Using the exclusive car stock pack that came with the purchase as a free gift for the plane cards I love the glossy finish that the cards stock had. The embarrassing folder from the collection was that perfect subtle hint for the background I use a little bit of gold wax to highlight the raised images just to bring out the images a little bit more so you could see it underneath all of thr elements

For now, this card is done however, my next attempt I think this card at the site I’m going to try and make the rule that will spin. Wish me luck.!

Honeybee Stamps: Alice’s Gingerbread Lane Christmas Gift Tag

I love to spoil my Dad at Christmas; he’s done so much for me that I want to show him how much it meant to me. So each year I try and make each gift just a little extra special with gift wrap and hand made tags that can be kept as keepsakes.

Using Alice’s Gingerbread Lane die set from Honeybee’s Christmas 2024 release, I used basic Kraft cardstock stock, inked some pieces with distress oxide inks to resemble sugar waffle cone roof, and pink glitter paper for icing. Confections just aren’t complete without sprinkles so I added some Crystal Effects to give them and the cherry a shiny glossy finish.

Honeybee – Baking Spirits Bright with Hoosier Cabinet Accessories

This is probably the easiest Christmas card I have ever been able to mass produce.

The wreath is actually from the limited edition paper pack, so all I really needed was the die cut accessories, all from the Hoosier cabinet die set.

Most of the kitchen ware I cut from white cardstock and inked with spun sugar & worn lipstick distress oxide inks. Gingerbread were cut from Kraft cardstock; and all were finished with a white gel pen to add a bit more dimension.

This card was part of the Honeybee Crop & Create workshop, and I ended up making a batch of these for an order placed by a work colleague. Best part is they are mail friendly as there isn’t a lot of dimension, especially if you choose not to add any foam tape to the base layer or accessories.

I ordered an obscene amount of the paper packs so that I could make these again for next Christmas!

Honey Bee Lovely Layers Hoosier Cabinet

As part of our 2024 Fall Crop & Create Delivered workshops, Honeybee included this amazing Lovely Layers Hoosier Cabinet die set.

Yes, it has a lot of tiny pieces, but the it’s remarkably easy to work with!

Most of my pieces cut beautifully from coloured cardstock, or I used distress inks to color white 80lb cardstock to suit whatever color palette I wanted.

Using Honey Bee Metallic Mix pearls were perfect for the tiny drawer & door knobs. Enamel dots or Nuvo drops or anything you have in your stash could also work beautifully.

To add a festive twist, I pulled out my Lovely Layers Christmas Market Cart add on from Honey Bee and used the Bundt, pine boughs and stocking. Crimson cardstock from Spellbinders and white pieces inked with spun sugar oxide for the dishes and rustic wilderness for the boughs.

Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Owl Masculine Birthday Card

Yet another stunning card using the Lovely Layers Owl die set from Honey Bee Stamps. I wasn’t kidding in my first post using this set that just changing the color ways of your cardstock will give this die set an entirely different look & feel to your project!

This was another project from our Crop & Create Delivered Spring 2023 workshop with Kelly. All that we used was some pattered paper (with just a very light hint of texture). I just added a few white bits throughout the owl, along with some flicks from a matching brown copic marker to give that effect of white & darker feathers.

The evergreen watercolor effect background paper is part of an upcoming release – you will NOT be disappointed, the collection is absolutely stunning.

This die set is incredibly easy to use!! Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers die sets may look intimidating, but they provide layering guides, and a ton of inspiration projects for you to run with when creating your own projects.

Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Owl

Honey Bee lovely layer dies are always gorgeous, and this Owl layers die set is no exception. The variety you can create with this is endless! Masculine cards, Christmas or even just a birthday card for owl or nature lovers.

The pattered paper is from an exclusive paper pack that we received as an attendee of the Spring 2023 Crop & Create Delivered event, taught by Kelley Kohout. This paper may be included in the upcoming release on May 19 2023.

The owl may look complicated, but their layering guides make this extremely easy to assemble. This owl was made from pure white card stock, and I used a combination of colored pencils and a bit of Lost Shadow Distress Oxide ink blending for some of the larger pieces.

Using just pattered paper with smaller texture patterns, or even strictly solid colors will give you a gorgeous result. Stay tuned for more projects featuring this die set (and exclusive paper collection)!
