Lawn Fawn Thank You Tags with Into The Woods Fox

I am super thankful each time I get an order from my online Etsy store whenever my cards are purchased.  My handwriting is atrocious so I thought I would make thank you tags to include as a little something extra, and to say thank you for their purchase all in one!  I will include a little something with each purchase going forward, so I came up with this project for the first few orders I had waiting.

I am always trying to make the most of my Lawn Fawn stash, so for these I pulled out new, and previous release items.  You can see a full list of all the supplies I used below & the links where you can find these super cute items.

The tags were paper pieced with the new Beachside patterns 12×12 & 6×6 papers.  The tangerine twine really brought out the oranges I used to color the fox with my spectrum noir markers as well.

Lawn Fawn Baked With Love Lawnscaping Challenge

I have been a fan of Lawn Fawn for many, many years but I have never had the confidence to enter a challenge with my work.
So I figured now was as good as time as any to get started! After all, practice makes perfect right?

The Lawnscaping challenge is “dimension”:  I chose Baked With Love as my primary set for my card. It took me quite a few tries to get it just as I envisioned in my head.

The scripty hugs was die cut from glitter fun foam, which I have been using a lot of lately 😛  See end of post for full list of supplies used.

I appreciate and welcome comments – thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens with Spectrum Noir Markers

The latest from the Lawn Fawn release, Gleeful Gardens goes so well with the new Gingham Backdrops stamp set.  It took me a few tries to get the gingham to stamp in alignment all the way across, so I just fudged it and cut a strip of the best stamped part 😛  That worked out well in the long run as it inspired me to come up with this card.  The snail is super cute and I love how the daisy flower just automatically inspires sunshiny feelings!

All colored with Spectrum Noir markers this card took less than 20 minutes from start to finish to make – so I suspect I will be making a few more to keep on hand.

Lawn Fawn Beep Boop & Spectrum Noir Markers

I have been really getting the hang of my new Spectrum Noir markers and I have wanted to make a card for a male friend who lives across the country. He loves robots so I knew that Lawn Fawn’s Beep Boop set for a thank you card.

Here is the finished card:

Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine with Spectrum Noir Markers

It’s been absolutely gorgeous in Vancouver this winter, temperatures hovering around 10 degrees since January while the rest of east coast has been getting tortured with insane amounts of snow and crazy cold temperatures!

That is what inspired me to make this card from Lawn Fawn, using their Hello Sunshine stamps & coordinating dies.  I have been coloring with my Spectrum Noir markers and I have been really starting to get the hang of it. While I still have tons to learn, I was happy with the way these little tweety birds turned out so I knew I had to use them on a card right away!

Stampin Up Blendabilities: Blended Bloom with Calypso Coral

Once I got started coloring with my new markers I had to try every color I had!  This card is made I made with the Blended Bloom image I colored using the Blendabilities markers in the Calypso Coral.  I have said it before, but I love how these markers come in sets of 3, taking the guess work out of finding the right colors to make a proper gradient blend.  One of hte other really cool benefits of these alcohol markers is that you can color on jsut about anything and the color does not come off!  For this project, I used regular clear rhinestones and colored them with the lightest pumpkin pie blendability marker giving them that nice gold tint.

The top background is stamped in Gold metallic ink using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set – this is one of my go to stamp sets because it is so flexible and makes great backgrounds.
